Pride (2024)

Drawn 4 June 2024

It's me with long black hair. I'm depicted from a low angle, flipping off the camera with both hands. I've got a look on my face that almost seems to say 'Get fucked, bitch!' I've got on a tank with a gay pride flag and the text 'Proud Faggot'. There's a gay pride flag across the background and a blood red vignette over the top.

It's been quite a while since I've actually drawn something. What better way to get back into it than with some more pride art! Last time we were here, I mentioned being genderfluid. And, yeah. I am. But it seems my self-conception has gone masc. If you remember "actual furfag", well we're back to masc and gay. Not much left to say other than "This fag fights back. Fuck around and find out, bitch."

I also have a version without the vignette and a version without the background and with a more intense vignette.

(Oh, and if you're upset at me calling myself a faggot: Don't like, don't read! The close button is right up top!)

Oh, for fuck's sake, I just noticed I drew the fucking hands mirrored. Shit. This is why we use references, kids.

Pride (2022)

Drawn 3 June 2022

It's Aura with a pan pride shirt on, holding a big genderfluid pride flag and standing in front of an enby pride flag.

OwO it's me! Can you believe the last piece I put here was a fucking year ago? Well, here's more pride art for you! This time, I've decided to do Aura again, since the last pride piece with xem was 3 years ago. As you can see, I've got a more stable notion of my gender. Yep. I'm genderfluid. Granted, that does kinda make "stable" relative, but still. So, yeah. Relatively little has changed. That's an achievement, I suppose. So, yeah. I'm here, I'm queer, I'm filled with existential fear, but, hey, I got a cool fuckin' flag to wave around, so that's neat. (I really do! I bought some pride flags a few months ago!)

Oh, and, uh...If you're wondering why Aura doesn't have on glasses like normal, it's because...uh...they're broken. Yeah... Totally not that I forgot to draw them... Ehe~

Me, again!

Drawn 18 June 2021

It's me, a cheerful kitsune, standing in front of a genderfluid pride flag.

Gender is hard. Very hard. You know what makes trying to figure it out even harder? Actually being genderfluid and not realizing it! So, yeah, here's me. I'm a genderfluid kitsune!

You know what really makes trying to figure gender out hard? The fact that, in a sense, my gender is "gay". Like, yes, I'm genderfluid, but I tend to fluid towards the gender that makes me gayest. So, you know, that didn' help when suddenly my desire to transition completely disappeared because I suddenly become obsessed with boys. Yeah, knowing I'm genderfluid (and *how* I'm genderfluid) really explains a lot.

So, yeah. Happy pride, y'all!

Lilix, Agender Incubus

Drawn 26 May 2021

It's my incubus form, smirking like the cocky fuck fae is, standing in front of an agender pride flag.

Let me just start by saying, 2 pieces within a month of each other?! What madness is this?!

Anyways, I did it. I done went and did it. I finally drew Lilix properly. I mean, yeah, I've drawn faer before. If you were following me on mastodon back in late 2019, you've seen faer before. But I've never done anything with colour. That finally changes!!! Here fae is! In colour!

I go into more detail about Lilix faerself over on the Who Am I page, but I would just like to take a moment to muse over the whole "incubus" thing. I mean, what makes me an incubus? Like, sure, I'm a fuck demon. But incubus? The two definitions I know of are that they're either male or tops/doms. I'm definitely not male. This is literally titled agender incubus. And, while I am a vers/switch, I have my preference, and it's not towards topping/domming. So I'm not 100% sure what makes me an incubus, but that's what I am.

I dunno what to call this so fuck it. Unnamed proxysona.

Drawn 11 May 2021

Me wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a full-face respirator painted like a gas mask (with the tiny eyeholes, you know?) covered in blood, wielding a knife, and charging at the camera.

So, this'll take some backstory. Right, so a while back, I stumbled across quotev, a site for hosting stories and quizzes like "Which dere type are you?" (among other things). The userbase of this site, um, hews young (like, teenagers) and edgy, shall we say? Originally, I was there "ironically". You know, because I enjoyed laughing at the shit they came up with. However, if you follow me over on the fediverse, you may remember me explicitly remarking that, with me, if I start doing it ironically, it will eventually stop being ironic. So it was with quotev. Eventually, I legitimately enjoyed exploring the site (particularly the quizzes) and seeing what the folx there could come up with. It wasn't super refined, but it was authentic, and I absolutely love it.

So, right, I'm on the site this past weekend (incidentally trying to find a good "Which dere type are you?" quiz for reasons I will not disclose), when I end up in the creepypasta area. Now, I don't have much experience with creepypastas. I know who Slenderman and Jeff the Killer are, I'm rather familiar with SONIC.EXE, Tails Doll, and Lavender Town Syndrome, and I'd heard of BEN DROWNED, but that's it. Before this weekend, if you had asked me what a proxy was, I'd have given you the computer answer ("I'm not 100% sure but they, like, route your web traffic through another server, I think?"). So, yes, I find some story quizzes. Not just any, no, no, no. Story quizzes that put you (yes, you) in the role of someone who's been kidnapped as a potential proxy. I'm too lazy to link it here, but I highly recommend you go find The Proxy Trials, a 25-part series that I will say I really enjoyed.

So, yeah, that one in particular stuck with me, and I can't stop thinking about that kind of stuff now, so, as was probably inevitable, I eventually turned to art. I grabbed my sketchbook yesterday and drew up "(Not Quite) Pseudo Self Portrait 18: Proxy Time". And I finished and went, "I need to share this". And, so, here we are. I have pulled the sketch up in Krita and spent two hours making it all nice and digital for your viewing enjoyment. (Incidentally, as stated, it wasn't pseudo self portrait 18. That was drawn earlier today.)

Just as things to note: 1) As I mentioned, I don't know a lot about creepypasta stuff or the whole "proxy" thing. I literally was working stuff out on the fly as I went through those quizzes. I don't know if I've fucked anything up with this image, but if I have, just remember that I haven't a clue about a lot of this stuff. 2) I'm honestly quite proud of that background. It looks so much better than some of the other backgrounds I've attempted. 3) I didn't quite know what to do with blood splatters or my colour scheme. The colour scheme I just ended up going with black and crimson, though I probably could have done better. For the blood splatters, I tried to work out a story of what was going on in the image and how it would lead to any given splatter, but that made my head hurt so I decided that I would have the one on the hand (ofc), have one on the mask, and the rest is just, um, hidden by my black clothes. 4) In case you're curious, the mask is a full-face respirator with the eye shield painted. I kinda like the gas mask aesthetic is has to it. 5) Fuck hands. I hate drawing hands. In the original sketch, I just used the fact it was a rough pencil sketch to hide how bad the left (stage left, not your left) hand was, but I couldn't do that here. I was kinda just gonna make it a fucked up demon hand, but eventually, I messed with it enough to get it to look decent, which is good, because as far as I'm aware, proxies are human, so a demon hand wouldn't exactly be fitting. Finally, 6) No, I do not have a clever name for this proxysona. (That's what I'm calling it. A proxysona. Would "proxy OC" work? Sure. But I like proxysona better. Besides, it gets the "me"-ness of it across, kinda like "fursona"). So yeah. If I develop her further, I probably ought to start there, but, for now, she doesn't really need one.

So, yeah! There you go. My proxysona. Now, if you excuse me, I've got an edgy teenage girl phase to start getting into. I never got to have one due to never being a teenage girl and debatably not being edgy, so I'm glad I get to now.

Me!

Drawn 18 February 2021

Me, smiling. I've got piercings and fox ears. In the background is a trans pride flag.

It's me! Yes, me! The femby behind the screen! If you've read the little explanation of me on the homepage, you've probably already guessed this is Kat. And, yes. This is Kat. This is what I really look like, piercings and fox ears aside. I will have my ears one of these days, damn it! Piercings on the other hand, not so much. I have roughly a year and a half if I want those. After that, I enter nursing school and am not allowed to have them (aside from a small earlobe piercing). But yeah. That's my hair. Those are my glasses. That's roughly my face. I own that necklace. I own that shirt (which happens to have The Lick just off screen). Yeah. It me.

I drew this following a discussion of drawing tablets. Someone asked about drawing tablets for beginners, and someone else suggested an old thinkpad as the best option, which reminded me that I have an old tablet thinkpad. So, I went and fired up photoshop CS2 running on Windows XP tablet edition on my old thinkpad X41 tablet and drew this.

Arcade (Boxing) Ahri

Drawn 18 September 2020

Arcade Arhi from League of Legends drawn in boxing gear. She's got one hand holding the viewer's head still while the other is pulled back for a punch. A fighting game-like UI shows Ahri missing little health while the player is almost out and has been knocked down twice. They're also stunned. A speech bubble for Ahri reads 'I gotta say...I wasn't expecting you to be quite this pathetic.'

Alternate Title: Why Trying to Fight a Kitsune is Generally a Bad Idea

For a while, I've wanted a decent (nude) model of Ahri for use in SFM, but, unfortunately, I haven't managed to find anything. So, wanting an image like this with Ahri, I went back to what I knew: drawing. And, thus, this image was born, in which Arcade Ahri, having beaten the absolute shit out of you, taunts you one last time before putting you to sleep.

Well, I say "you". This was born out of horny masochism. The one behind the POV was always supposed to be me.

SOCIALIST TEETH

Drawn July 2020

Aura baring xyr teeth while pointing to them.

Can you believe this became a thing because some idiot thought it was a thing? It's beautiful.

So, yeah. Socialist teeth. Do you like them? They're nice and bitey.

T. Fucking. Pose.

Drawn May 2020

Aura smiling and holding up double peace signs while wearing a t-shirt of xem t-posing while wearing a shirt of xem t-posing.

Based off of an old, since deleted toot by Srol. You can blame him for this. Sure, I drew it, but it's all his fault.

Alternate title: Tee-pose

It's my turn.

Drawn February 2020

A pale foxgirl in boxing gear leaning on the ropes of a boxing ring and wiping blood off her face.

When you last saw Lorelai, she was a pathetic excuse of a boxer. Her skills were mediocre at best, but worse was the fact that she looked like she belonged in a hospital, not in the ring fighting in front of thousands. Persistent as she may have been, it didn't take much to put her anorexic ass down for the count.

This time, though, was different. Of course she'd gotten better. Given three years, you'd hoped she'd gotten better. But she also changed physically. Gone was the Lorelai who looked too anorexic to even hope to fight. This time, she'd bulked up. Not to mention the change in her affect. Last time, she smiled the whole time, even as she took blow after blow. You sill remember the smirk as she got up from her fifth knockdown and, with more confidence than she had any right to have, simply said, "My turn~..." This time, the smile had been replaced by a grim look. The look of someone here for revenge.

The first few rounds seemed easy enough. By the fourth round, you'd already opened a cut on her left eye and started to swell the right one shut. But, as you watched the foxgirl rise from her fifth knockdown and wipe the blood from her face, an ominous chill ran down your spine. The look on her face, the way she stared you down...it sent the message loud and clear.

"You've had your fun. But now? It's my turn.

~~~
A few years back, I drew a boxing foxgirl. My grasp of anatomy was poor, and in hindsight, she looks horribly anorexic. Hardly fit to fight. Despite that, she carried a strong air of confidence. Though she had a black eye and a bloody nose, she was still smirking with a look that said "My turn~" (or, at least, that was the hope). Fast forward, and I decided to give her another piece. My grasp of anatomy may not be excellent, but it's much better than it was, and it shows. Were you to compare the older image to this one, you can see the improvement. I also changed her demeanor a bit. No longer the smiling, cocky foxgirl she was, she's now gotten serious. She's got one goal and one goal only: knock. you. out.
Also, I went for a more futuristic ring, because why not? Laser barriers ftw.
Combat fox
Drawn Jul 2019
Aura looking at the camera, wearing MMA gear, and holding up xyr hands in a faux guard.
Not many folx IRL know this about me, but I really like combat sports, in particular MMA and kickboxing. I've wanted to take one of those up for a while (for more than just exercise), but between the effort it'd take, the brain damage I'd take, and the money a gym membership would take, I never have. I drew this to commorate this small fact about me.
Kicking a fĂștbol
Drawn June 2019
Aura wearing soccer gear about to kick a soccer ball.
I had recently bought a football on a whim and started playing with it. I really enjoyed it and decided to draw Aura playing around with a football herself.
Pride
Drawn March 2019
Aura holding a bixexual pride flag and wearing a intersex pride flag bandana and a anarcho-communist flag t-shirt
A pride avatar I drew back in 2019. The bisexual flag should be self-explanatory. The flag on the shirt was supposed to be the anarcho-syndicalist flag, but I think I accidentally got the ancom flag on accident (which is fine given the fact I'm now an ancom). The bandana was supposed to be the bigender flag, but I'm pretty sure it's actually an intersex pride flag, which is unfortunate because I'm not intersex.
Fine, You Win~
Drawn March 2019
A vixen being held by a she-wolf. Both are wearing MMA gear and are cut and bruised. The fox is looking back towards the wolf and sticking her tongue out playfully.
It seems Kaylee and Cora found themselves pitted against each other, and Cora came out on top. Ah, well. I'm sure she'll make up for the damage done somehow...
Winter Stroll
Drawn March 2019
Aura holding up a peace sign. Xe's wearing winter clothes and walking through a snowy urban landscape.
We, sadly, didn't get any snow the winter this was drawn. But, I wanted to draw Aura on a lovely stroll through the snow, so here it is.
Fight on
Drawn March 2019
Aura (drawn male here) in MMA gear kicking a punching bag. He's still got a black eye and some cuts from the beating he took in Beaten but not quite broken.
An image I drew shortly after Beaten, but not quite broken, with Aura training up for the next battle. After all, just because I made it out of my last bout with depression alive, doesn't mean I'm happy with just that. I will win. I must win.
This will not conquer me. I will conquer it.
Beaten, but not quite broken
Drawn March 2019, originally sketched February 2019
Aura (drawn male in this iteration) leaning against a wall. He's got two black eyes and is bleeding from multiple lacerations to the face. He's saying 'Heh. That all ya got?'
"What? You think you've won?"
"Not yet. But do you really think you can beat me?"
"Heh. Watch me, ya bastard."
"Look at yourself–"
"Yeah, what about me?"
"*Grk*!"
"What's wrong? Scared?"
"Hmph...Fine. Have it your way."
Aura knew he was in for a tough fight. He'd already been continually beaten down. The fact that he kept getting up was a miracle more than anything. But he knew he had to keep fighting. His foe had nothing to lose: whether he won or lost, he'd die anyways by the time this fight was over. But for Aura, it was a matter of life and death. And, so, despite the cuts, despite the bruises, despite the pounding headache and the likely concussion, he stood up once more. He'd prop himself up in the corner if he had to, but he wasn't going down without a fight.
He was going to win. He had to win.
Not just for himself, but for everyone he loved.
"Well, then! Bring it the fuck on!
A new fursona arrives!
Drawn in late 2018
There are a few of these. To start...
An anthro red fox winking, holding up a peace sign, and wearing a shirt with a gay pride flag and the text 'Actual Furfag'
First, we had this. This was my first attempt at a fox fursona to replace Fenris. As you can tell, my genderfluid ass was feeling particularly male and especially gay, hence the shirt. I honestly kinda like that shirt. I kinda want one. Anyways, he didn't live long...
The same fox as above, but now with purple and black fur
As I remembered the enderfox concept. Indeed, you may notice that in some places, I use the username "awesomeenderfox". I'd never actually drawn an enderfox. Well, here we go! I recoloured the first attempt into an enderfox. This actually lived for a couple of months until a colour shift and a flash of inspiration for a name led to the Aura we now know and love. (As a fun tidbit, Aura wasn't actually supposed to be that blue originally. Xe was supposed to be more purple, but my laptop's display has some wonky colours and so that blue ended up hewing pretty close to Lucario colours. In the aftermath, I ended up having the flash of "Aura Vulpes" for the name, in no small part inspired by the Lucario similarity. Ah, how the things we love come to be...)
Same fox, now female, holding up fists in...a way, and wearing a shirt with an incorrect trans flag and the text 'Vixen Bitch'
I also drew a female version. I wasn't entirely sure what to do with the shirt. Also, yes. I fucked up the trans flag. I tried to do it from memory and ended up with the wrong order for the blue and pink. Also, because of the laptop display wonkery, both the pink and blue are more purple than they should be. Lesson learned, worked from reference and use the eyedropper for pride flags. Yep.
As a further fun fact, you may notice they (and early Aura) sport a different hairstyle than modern Aura. At the time, my hair was fully grown out, and these images reflect that. However, through the first half of 2019, I didn't do the greatest job taking care of my hair, kept it in a ponytail, and the ponytail ended up matting up really badly. Finally, in August, I took a chance, which you may remember if you were following me on the Fediverse at that time. I cut the ponytail off and finally cut it into the side shave I'd been wanting to try but was too scared to. Honestly, I have no regrets. I think it came out so well. So, yes, more fun facts.
Is a cryptofox
Drawn sometime around the first instance of the fox fursona
A girl with fox ears and orange and black hair reaching out while seemingly shouting something. Does she want someone to not go? Did someone forget something? Is this actually just a zoomed-in image of her holding two boxers apart as a ref? We may never know.
Fun fact: This is a bit of a psuedo-self-portrait. (Speaking of which, I have an entire series of those I should show y'all one of these days.) I'm not quite sure what's happening here? But, hey. She cute, I guess. If your curious why it's titled "Is a cryptofox", "cryptofox" is a name I was toying with at the time and that's how this got titled. *shrug*
Fenris HelmsĂșlfr
Drawn around mid-2018
A wolf with short-ish black hair and glowing blue PCB marking across his body.
Hey, look, it's my second fursona, Fenris! I like this design. Incidentally, you may have seen him before. I posted some art of him in this iteration and his boyfriend having some fun with the fact Fen's a robot. Anyways, yeah. I wanted to design a robot wolf fursona and this was the design that won out. I really should bring him back.
Wynter, Casual
Drawn sometime in 2018?
Wynter with a black eye and a cut, smiling, wearing a shirt that reads 'If your model doesn't match my data, your model is the problem.' Also, she has glasses now.
A bit of a casual image of Wynter here, chilling. Not much to say here. She does wear glasses, yes. Generally wears soft contacts in the cage, but can still see well enough to do without. Another shirt here I really like, too. I like that. I should get a proper design of that going.
Dark Elf Rogue
Drawn sometime in 2018
A dark elf with tattoos on her arms and face, bone earrings, and bandages wrapping her arms. She seems less than amused.
A dark elf I drew in 2018. Somewhat inspired by my Kirai, especially the tattoos. I've used her as an avatar once on an account where I was using the name "Aeris Ashryver", so I guess that's her name?
Okay, a couple of things. One, no, the Kirai are not a standard night elf species. Actually, they're a light elf species who actually ended up nocturnal due to how damaging UV can be for them, a trait they share with all other northern elves. Two, that last name, Ashryver, might sound a little familiar. It was originally a placeholder. I needed a last name for "Aeris" and just threw in the middle name of Aelin Galathinius from the Throne of Glass series. Eventually, it ended up growing on me, so I just kept it for lack of anything better. So, if it sounds familiar, you've probably read the Throne of Glass books. Three, no, neither Aeris nor Ashryver are Kirai names. That's not Kirai names, and they wouldn't be rendered that way if they were anyways. (If you're curious, it'd be more along the lines of "Eris Acraiver", as I pronounce it and Kiraian phonology permits. I'll post the grammar, etc. here one day, don't worry.)
Ryver and Wynter
Drawn in 2018? Maybe?
An anthro arctic wolf and grey wolf smiling at the camera, both using one arm to hug the other and the other to hold up a peace sign
Hey, look, it's one of the few digital images I've done of Ryver and Wynter. Ah...
Okay, so, you may know Wynter. I've had an image (Casual Wynter, above) in my FurAffinity scraps for a while with her. She's an MMA fighter, a physics major, and a character I came to love quite well. A character, I am so, ahem, attached to for reasons I'd rather not go into that I actually have plans to get the same tattoo she has. She is probably one of my most precious characters. I need to do some more art of her for y'all.
Ryver is her girlfriend and, fun fact, my first fursona! This is her original design. I've since redesigned her in some ways. For instance, in this iteration, she's actually partially paralyzed in her left arm due to nerve damage. Nowadays, her right arm was amputated. So, really, that hand on Wynter's waist shouldn't be there, but this is old art. I should really do more art of her as well.
As for this image, I'm not 100% sure about what's going on. I think the idea was it's after Wynter fought, hence the black eye. But why is she wearing both jeans and her gloves then? Ah, to interrogate the intent of my past self. Anywho.
We will resist
Drawn late 2017
Two queer gals, one in a pride shirt, sidehugging and flipping off the camera with a smile. Text reads 'You may discriminate against us. You may oppress us. But no mater what, we WILL hashtag RESIST.
Damn. This feel pretty liberal. Like, #Resist? Really? Gods. Otherwise, I think the image speaks for itself. Fun fact: the girl on the right doesn't actually exist. Not entirely sure why I didn't draw Jade. But I didn't. Then again, the girl on the left technically doesn't either anyways. After all, I abandoned Ivy long ago.
The Ivy series
Drawn through 2017 and early 2018
Fun fact: I used to want to use the name Ivy. I was gonna go by Ivy Collins. Ultimately, I ended up changing my mind for Katlynn, but yeah. Another fun fact: I used to use art a lot for working out what I wanted to look like as I transitioned. Here's a few digital examples:
Me with pink and purple hair, wearing an Arch Linux shirt, smiling, and waving to the camera while holding a drawing tablet pen.
Here's the first. This design is interesting for me. This wasn't my first time drawing it, with the design originating in "Pseudo-Self-Portrait 4". That image was...emotional...for me. It was the first time I looked at one of those and went "Yeah. This is me. This is what I want." This was the translation of that into a digital piece and, honestly, I still kinda see what I want in this.
Me again, basically the same, but holding up peace signs.
This one was basically just an update to the first. Not much has changed, and there's not much to say about it.
Me in black and neon green boxing gear, with my hair coloured to match.
And, one last one, another in the line of "images related to my love of combat sports". Not entirely proud of this. Both the anatomy and gloves are very whack, but it's still a fun concept. It's me, ready to kick your ass! What's not to love about that? (Unless you want to kick my ass, in which case...uh...It's me, ready to get my ass kicked!)
Honestly, I wish I could dye my hair that shade of green, but I can't. Or at least, I don't know if I'll be able to at this point. It'll depend on where I end up as a phlebotomist. Maybe some places will have a loose enough dress code, but yeah. Shame. By the time I'll have the money to dress like this, I might not be able to. Sad.
Just a bit slow
Drawn around mid-2017
A boxer missing her opponent with a punch and getting punished for it hard. It looks like she's already taken a good deal of punishment, sporting a black eye, and it seems this punch may have just put her out.
Our poor fighter on the right has found herself up against a much quicker opponent and has taken quite the beating for it. She's already sporting a nasty black eye, and the way her eyes are rolling back into her head, well, I think we may be we witnessing the knockout blow.
I kinda like these characters. I should name them. Maybe add a bit of story here for this? I dunno. Maybe later. I should do more with them though. Anyone up for a fight?
Sylvanas, Queen of the Ring
Drawn in 2016 or 2017 some time
Sylvanas, a dark elf, wearing boxing gear and standing in the corner of an inexplicably outdoor boxing ring
An old image I did. Don't be fooled, my grasp on shading wasn't great, as the gloves and ring hint. The only reason Sylvanas looks as good as she does is that I referenced a Curse avatar. Still, I guess it came out okay. Certainly not my worst piece.
sELFie
Drawn spring 2017
A fake phone screenshot of an elf taking a selfie. There's also a suspiciously detailed laptop running Arch in the background.
A kinda bad pun and a kinda cute elf gal. I started this one and mostly finished it back in high school, before leaving it to rot with the desire to properly shade it. By the way, check out that laptop. That's not suspicious. Let's see here. Form is suspiciously similar to a 2014 Dell Inspiron. It's running Arch Linux with i3. Green landscape background. Music player is playing Wolfgun's Road to Jupiter. Hmm... That's just my laptop! (Or, well, my laptop at the time.) Just who is this elf gal?!
Honestly, I'm not sure. Maybe it was me, maybe it wasn't. I honestly have no clue.
Sinon
Drawn December 2016
A My Little Pony unicorn with a visor, holding an uzi with her magic, backed into a bit of a corner with a mysterious box.
Okay, this is gonna take some explanation. So, for a while now, sincere if a bit not great art has held a special spot for me. Cringe culture is dead and I like seeing people try to make something that they like. So, around november or december 2016, I stumbled across a Fallout: Equestria fanfic. It wasn't great. Very rough around the edges. But I kinda enjoyed it. The story wasn't all that bad. Kinda good, really. Needed some heavy proofreading/editing, but that's fairly minor, honestly. Anyways, I enjoyed it, and I thought I might help the author out a bit. The "cover" of the story was a pony maker pony that looked...not great. So, for Christmas that year, I'd gotten a new drawing tablet and the first thing I drew with that was this! The sad ending to this story is that I never actually sent it to the author. Soon enough, the story was gone from FiMfiction. Sad. Anyways, author of that story, if you're seeing this, I hope you appreciate this, I hope you're doing well, and I hope you never gave up on writing. Know that at least one person out there enjoyed your story. <3
My turn~!
Drawn back in, like, 2015 or something
A pale foxgirl wearing boxing gear and holding up a weak guard. She's got a black eye and a bloody nose and is smirking.
A piece I drew a few years back based off of this pixel art piece I'd done:
A pixel art piece of a foxgirl wearing boxing gear and holding up a guard.
Unfortunately, in the jump from pixel art to drawing, the anatomy got much worse. She looks pretty anorexic here. By the way, notice that super harsh perspective? Yeesh. Like, it's done right, but has the focus points in waaaay too close.
Monster Warlord fanart
Drawn in, like, 2015
So, I used to play this game called Monster Warlord. It's a gacha game, and not a great one. Say what you will about Genshin, but at least it's basically just Breath of the Wild but gacha. It at least has fucking gameplay. But, hey, I enjoyed MW. It was okay, I guess. While I played it, I decided to do a couple of pieces of fanart in Colors 3D. Here they are:
A red-haired demoness in skimpy clothing looking very determined.
First up, we have Lucifer. I wish I could say more about these characters, but I barely remember anything, and I don't think they were well fleshed-out anyways. Cool design, though.
A black-haired demoness in a dress looking kinda sad holding a hand out behind her.
And, here we have Lilith. Also pretty cool design.
Turret pixel art
Drawn around Christmas 2014 or 2015
Some pixel art of turrets from Portal. One's resting, the other is deployed.
As a fun fact, this image originated in Golly, that Conway's game of life program! I drew out what was essentially 1-bit turret pixel art. I was at my grandparents' for christmas at the time, and my cousin, himself a Portal fan, saw it and told me I should flesh them out. Maybe I could put them on a shirt, you know? So, I did! It's not perfect, as I decided to do it in Photoshop, using a, like, 25 pixel square brush. You can see some of the discontinuities. But I really like the design. They're pretty cool. Incidentally, I never did put them on a shirt. Should I?
